These two American Avocets were found at the beach by Greg Grove, Deuane Hoffman, and Carolyn Blatchley.

Six American Avocets were found in the 'fly-ash' basin by Rick Wiltraut, who has special permission to access this private property. PPL employee John Drabic graciously escorted birders into the 'off-limits' site to see them.
