This bird was found by Mandy Pennypacker, Bob Snyder, Randy Miller, and Sid Hostetter during a Mount Gretna Bird Club walk. It was seen from November 20th to the 28th and represents the 1st record for Lebanon County and only the 4th record for Pennsylvania!

Note the tail pattern on the bird, which matches Ash-throated. This bird represents the 1st record for Lebanon County and only the 4th record for Pennsylvania!

Ash-throated Flycatcher --- Koch farm, Williams Township, Northampton County; November 26, 1997. Photos by Frank Haas.
This bird was found by Arlene Koch. It was present at the Koch property from November 24th to December 16th. These photos show the whitish throat, white wingbars, and the rufous edges on the wings.
This bird represents the 1st record for both Northampton County and Pennsylvania!
