These three birds were found in a flooded farmfield during heavy rain by Dick and Pat Williams. This photo shows the broad, black bills and fairly long black legs. Note that light-colored corn stubble is obscuring the black legs of the bird on the right.
This group of three birds represents the 1st record for Snyder County and one of only several records for Pennsylvania.
