Pine Creek Rail Trail - Waterville to Jersey Mills
Lycoming
DESCRIPTION: This is a great area for warblers in the summer and other woodland species. Recommend parking in the rail trail lot on the north end of Waterville and going by bike. The best areas for warblers are right around the parking lot in Waterville, and the area near the Dry Run comfort station (about a 1/4 mile south of the comfort station to about a half mile north of the station). The Dry Run comfort station is about 2 1/2 miles north of the Waterville parking lot, which is why a bike is recommended. Thrushes and Flycatchers can often be heard while riding along the trail. There are also regularly Cliff Swallows nesting under the PA 44 bridge going over Pine Creek just north of the Waterville parking lot.

DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of PA 44 and Little Pine Creek Rd in Waterville, go west on PA 44 for 0.7 mile and turn right into the trailhead parking area.
