Directions:  At 1.4 miles south of Mt Zion Rd on Limestone Flat Rd, turn left on Wyman Road and follow the road about 1.2 miles. Larches, aspen, and birch provide food and shelter for a number of breeding birds along this road. Great Horned Owl nest in the wooded gullies along the north side of the road. In winter Northern Shrike, Pine Siskin, Common Redpoll, American Tree Sparrow, and Dark-eyed Junco have been observed. At 1.2 miles, turn left onto Stockdill Road. Travel about 0.6 miles and walk through the grass to the west. Short-eared Owl bred here in 1997. Grassland sparrows and Bobolink are abundant here. Northern Harrier also can be found. During the winter Horned Lark, Snow Bunting, and Lapland Longspur have been found here.
